1.

Process.

I created body and cover imagery for a previously unaccompanied article. In an attempt to appropriately represent Malcolm Gladwell's New Yorker article I staged and photographed his subject, french fries. I used a studio lighting setup and photoshop to convey a language I saw in the article. I wanted to convey a tone of idyllic visuals and wanted to be transparent to the contents of the imagery.

Cover image. Spread one. Spread two. Spread three.

2.

Fold. Fold. Fold.

Exploration in alternative physical interaction with a print piece. I extended the system into the digital media with a simple Java Script animation.

Fold.

3.

Paper typography.

Exploration in composition and interaction of typography through hand done animation.

4.

Piping Plover.

I translated a still image I created with Illustrator into a short animation using After Effects inpired by audio.
